   I participated in an overnight retreat as part of Leadership Tulsa’s 360 program.

   Leading up to this weekend, I had been excited to participate in LT360 as an opportunity to develop my leadership skills, particularly in service of the Tulsa community.

   The retreat was very well thought out and exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by how substantive and human-centered the programming was. We did not engage in your typical corporate icebreakers, nor were we subjected to a painful death by PowerPoint. Instead, we actively participated in activities that genuinely deepened our connection to each other, each offering a lesson about a unique dimension of leadership and teamwork.

   Perhaps most concerning, I discovered that I may, in fact, be “a conference person.”

2. July 20, 2026

   I celebrated turning 33 this year by having a survivor themed birthday party complete with challenges, tribal councils, and video footage of alliance betrayals. I emerged the sole survivor as determined by a jury of my totally unbiased peers.

3. July 1, 2026

   I started a new job at Oklahoma Data Exchange as a Devops Engineer.
